Let's see...Hello, my name is Rey.I'm 30 years old and I live in NYC.I haven't always lived here, I actually moved from Britain when I was 21 years old. I thought I'd be terrified, a young girl who had barely touched the world, moving her entire life to the other side of it, but I settled rather quickly and I'm having the time of my life!I come from a pretty nuclear family, happily-married parents and a younger brother, all of whom I miss deeply but we stay in touch.I'm a Veterinary Specialist by profession, and I've worked hard to be where I am today. I graduated with honours from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine only a few years ago, and from the first day on the job I knew all my hard work was worth it.I love animals, that's probably obvious, right? They remind me that innocence really does exist. An animal doesn't have the same moral compass as we do, they don't do bad things to be bad, they just don't understand good and bad like we do, and I love them for that.I love NYC, the vibrancy and the energy of this city have won over my heart, but I would still like to be able to escape, just to somewhere a little quieter from time to time! I live just inside the city limits with my husband, Kevin, far enough away from the true madness of it all, but close enough to enjoy it all the same! It’s not where we’d like to stay forever, a quiet family home would be perfect... but with just the two of us and work so convenient to get to inside the city, we’re happy here for now!Speaking of Kevin, I finally found out that real love does exist... we met just before my 30th birthday, and he completely spoiled me on that day... before that we’d had a few dates, our first one wasn’t perfect, but I still wanted to know him better. After a couple more I was completely smitten... falling head over heels for the beautiful, kindhearted family man who treats me like royalty every day... we’ve been through highs and lows together, but we always come through and out the other side stronger. I’ve met his two beautiful children, Cody and Madison... actually now my step-children! Getting to marry the true love of my life is something I could only have dreamed of before, now it's a reality, and I'm so excited to build our happy family with him... I’ve never been happier, and I fall in love with him more and more every day.🌻Some random facts about myself?- I have a weakness for Italian food, I'm obsessed with the stuff! I'm hoping to learn how to make a few more complicated dishes so I can stop spending all of my money on eating dinner out!
- My favourite flowers were either pink peonies or yellow hydrangeas, but recently I've developed a love of sunflowers thanks to a certain better half of mine.
- I spend my Sundays in bed, busying myself with literally any activity that helps me stay there!
- I have the absolute worst taste in movies and music, it's truly disgraceful...There are so many things I could say here, but I'd rather tell you in person if you're interested, save everyone else the trouble of reading it!Conclusion? I'm a fun, happy girl, looking forward to what her 30s are going to bring and spending far too much money on Italian takeaway. I’m a hopeless romantic, since finding my soulmate anyway, and I can be seriously mushy and sweet... especially when it comes to him! I like it when people feel comfortable to be themselves around me, even if you think you're stoic or uninteresting, I guarantee I see differently.So hi, nice to meet you.
